“Wa gin on,” hello and welcome! I’m Cherricky Grant-Smith, a creative who loves turning ideas into experiences that genuinely connect with people emotionally.

With a background in project management, experiential marketing, and production, I thrive where strategy meets execution, transforming early complexities into authentic stories people can feel. I’m passionate about bringing fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to every project, creating work that celebrates culture, representation, and community, campaigns that don’t just speak to audiences, but truly resonate with them.

I lead with collaboration, adaptability, and a solutions-first mindset, always keeping creativity at the center. For me, production isn’t just about delivering the final result, it’s about shaping every step of the process with intention, innovation, and impact.

My Story: Curator's Note

I’m a New York-born, Barbadian-raised creative. Much like an exhibition taking shape, I find beauty in the process: studying what works, refining what could be adjusted, uncovering opportunities, and reframing perspectives to bring out something new. That’s the lens I hope stands out as you journey through my portfolio.

If you look closely, you’ll see the “live editing” in action, the brainstorms, the sketches, the trial runs, that eventually come together as collaborative masterpieces. Behind the canvas, though, is where my craft as a project manager and producer shines: managing budgets and timelines, streamlining workflows, and guiding on-site execution to ensure every piece of the production aligns seamlessly.

I discovered this passion later than I expected, but with divine timing. Just like a gallery opening that begins only when the work is truly ready, I’ve learned that process and timing shape the impact of the final experience. It’s this belief, that execution is both an art and a discipline, that drives me. Authenticity guides my work, and people trust that every project I manage is produced with care, precision, and intention.
